Tour the wild and beautiful estuarine salt marshes and osprey nesting grounds of the Westport River on the South Coast of Massachusetts with osprey expert Alan Poole, a 1976 graduate of the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, as it was known then. Our tour by boat will include close looks at osprey nests, discussions about ospreys, estuaries, and salt marsh ecology. Once back on land, optionally stay for lunch at an excellent and nearby seafood restaurant with ocean views.

The Westport River has generally calm waters, and our cruising speed will be low. We will be on the boat about an hour.

Pay by cash or Venmo at the marina. Come only if you have received confirmation by email. Please cancel your confirmed registration ASAP if you cannot come, to allow others to participate.
